When we holiday we enjoy staying in small hotels and B&Bs, eating out at independent restaurants and seeking out unusual museums - ask us for some of our favourites! We are still relatively new to the area so are trying to explore as much as we can so that we can make interesting recommendations for our guests.

With spacious, comfortable rooms and a hearty breakfast this small B&B offers the perfect base to visit Workington, and at great value. *Updated for Jan 2019 with double glazing, new bedroom doors and new carpets throughout!* A few minutes' drive from the A66 and walking distance from the train station, this B&B is perfect for those visiting the town or commuting elsewhere. We have a secure backyard with CCTV and can store your bicycles safely. Surrounding the property there is a sandwich shop, various takeaways, a pharmacy and McColl's newsagent. Within walking distance is the town centre that has numerous restaurants and bars. Workington is the retail hub for West Cumbria and so is a perfect place for some shopping. Within a short walk you have access to activities such as Workington Leisure Centre and the Carnegie Theatre. For those wanting to explore further the property is just off the A66 and so acts as a perfect base to visit Mount Skiddaw, Lake Bassenthwaite and enjoy outdoor pursuits whilst still having all the amenities of a large town.
