Willow Cottage is a delightful cottage set on the owners' working livestock farm, just less than three miles from the village of Staindrop and five miles from Barnard Castle. This cottage sleeps two people and has a double bedroom with en-suite shower, a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with woodburning stove. Outside there's off road parking for one car and bench to the front of the property and shared use of a lawned garden with small pond. Willow Cottage is a great base for a couple with plenty to see and do within reach.
The pretty Teesdale village of Staindrop has always been closely associated with the fortunes of nearby Raby Castle and its owners. Staindrop has many interesting shops, pubs and cafes set round its long village green. The popular market town of Barnard Castle is 5 miles away, with its castle, the Bowes Museum, plus of course its wide range of shops and tea rooms. Walkers will enjoy the many walks around Teesdale.
