A Romantic Riverside Retreat - a tiny cruck beamed cottage for couples, recently completely restored to offer a place of peace in beautiful surroundings. A charming tiny 400 year old Welsh cottage - flagstone floor, lime washed walls, wood burning stove, oak beams, with a crog-loft bed (accessed by short steep ladder) and large shower, in a truly stunning location. Situated beside a small trout stream in the south of the Brecon Beacons National Park, with 500 square miles of beautiful countryside on your doorstep.....Guests have exclusive use of the cottage and a large private garden (with seating/table) alongside the beautiful Crawnon River. We are Edmund and Khrieuo - we live close by and are usually available to offer advice or assistance to our guests. We pride ourselves on officering a special place for quiet restful, relaxing breaks away from modern life! Edmund also manages the nearby Crawnon River Cottage (Y Wern) which we also list on this site, and we have gained 'Superhost' status for both our properties with Air B&B. This quiet cottage is tucked away in a remote valley, with nearby properties, 3 miles from the nearest pub. It suits folk who enjoy country walks, each others quiet company or just need to switch off for a while - if you like to party, play loud music, smoke indoors or want easy access to night-clubs and shops, it is absolutely not for you - please don't book it!
Located in Brecon Beacons National Park which is described as 'One of Britain's Breathing Spaces' in a very quiet country lane with only occasional passing farm vehicles and animals. Part of a small hamlet in a rural location with friendly farmers and scattered neighbours. Plenty of sheep, birds and wildlife!
