A Romantic Riverside Retreat - a tiny cruck beamed cottage for couples, recently completely restored to offer a place of peace in beautiful surroundings. A charming tiny 400 year old Welsh cottage - flagstone floor, lime washed walls, wood burning stove, oak beams, with a crog-loft bed (accessed by short steep ladder) and large shower, in a truly stunning location. Situated beside a small trout stream in the south of the Brecon Beacons National Park, with 500 square miles of beautiful countryside on your doorstep.....Guests have exclusive use of the cottage and a large private garden (with seating/table) alongside the beautiful Crawnon River. Off road parking. We supply clean crisp linen, firewood, books, and a babbling brook! This tiny cottage is located in the small hamlet of Dyffryn Crawnon with other cottages close by. It is 3 miles from the village of Llangynidr, along a single track country lane (with few passing places!). This quiet cottage is tucked away in a remote valley, with nearby properties, 3 miles from the nearest pub. It suits folk who enjoy country walks, each others quiet company or just need to switch off for a while - if you like to party, play loud music, smoke indoors or want easy access to night-clubs and shops, it is absolutely not for you - please don't book it!
