The Shire Stables is a delightful semi-detached cottage is on the owners' working farm, two miles from the small Sussex village of Bodle Street Green. This single-storey cottage sleeps four people and has a double and a bunk room, along with a bathroom, a kitchen and a sitting room with dining area. Outside there's off road parking for one car and lawned gardens with patio and furniture. The Shire Stables is a great base with many attractions and places to visit in the area, including Battle and Bexhill-on-Sea.
The small village of Bodle Street Green is situated in the heart of rural East Sussex and has a collection of cottages, farms and period manor houses all set in glorious countryside. Two miles away is the larger village of Hertsmonceux, where on the outskirts you will find Herstmonceux Castle and Grounds Also within reach are Hastings, Rye and Pevensey.
