Trebetherick is a wonderful costal location in the outstandingly beautiful area of North Cornwall. The costal path is within easy access, as are the beautiful beaches of Daymer Bay and Polzeath. Polzeath is a popular costal destination, ideal for surfers of all ages, the beach is large and sandy and watched by Lifeguards in the summer months. The village has several shops including a surf shop, lively restaurants and cafes,a grocery store and takeaways. The spectacular coastal footpath from Polzeath leads around into the Camel Estuary, which features the beautiful beach of Daymer Bay and continues around to the watersports haven of Rock, home to the famous St Enodoc Golf Course and quaint St Enodoc Church site on the sand dunes around the estuary. From Rock you can catch the foot ferry to the harbour of Padstow, home to Rick Stains Seafood restaurant. Rock has a very good fishmongers, butchers and bakery as well as good cafes and restaurants. Just over 7 miles away is the market town of Wadebridge for more extensive facilities.
