Pear Tree Cottage is a ground floor, detached cottage in the village of Mark, just five miles from Burnham-on-Sea. The cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and a TV, and the other with twin beds. There is also a family bathroom and an open plan living space with a fitted kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with a woodburning stove. The pretty village of Mark is situated in the heart of the beautiful Somerset Levels, and is criss-crossed by long watery rhynes, which drain the wetlands for pasture, aiding the production of fine Somerset cheese. The village boasts an ancient church, built in honour of St Mark, as well as excellent walking and cycle paths, and a variety of rare species of birds, making it a haven for twitchers!
