I run a luxury holiday let, The Old Nursery with my business partner Amy, where we offer a wonderfully cosy place to stay, but hope to deliver a meaningful experience as well. The Old Nursery is an elegant, well appointed, luxury self catering holiday apartment with its own entrance and private walled garden. The property is centrally heated throughout and has a wood burner in the living room.

Set within the grounds of Forsyth House, The Old Nursery is well positioned in the very heart of Cromarty close to the beach, restaurants and shops. A 19th century annex to the original 1770 merchant house, The Old Nursery is full of character and charm, tactfully restored and tastefully decorated.

We enjoy 2 sandy beaches, less than a minutes’ walk from The Old Nursery, perfect for walks along the sea front. Considered the best kept historic town in the Highlands. Cromarty has immense character, from the small cottages of Fishertown, to the fine Georgian Merchant town houses. Explore the streets, vennels and lanes, and take in the unique and important architecture. The best way to explore Cromarty is on foot, but if you plan to go further afield, there are regular buses to and from Inverness and Dingwall and good cycling routes around the Black Isle. If you bring your own car/motorcycle or hire a vehicle, The Old Nursery has its own off road private parking situated just outside the property, within the grounds of Forsyth House.
