Information about the host

Dating back to the 1700's and originally a farmers cottage with the original farm house being just at the end of this little pedestrianised terrace. The originator of Pears Soap lived on this terrace too (yes Mr Pears himself) and his cottage can be seen from the stable door (the only in and outie) of this little b&b. Now for a couple of helpful but not life threatening tips, you can't park at the cottage and will have to park initially opposite the b&b and pay 50p (directions will be sent by your hosts) There is a slope to the entrance of the property from the main street below and has been likened to Mount Kilimanjaro by some guests , however to put this into perspective Andy walked up it 7 days after having a double hip replacement (it's a slope) 6ft.1" is as tall as you can be without bending on entry to the b&b and also in the "Little Spriggans Hideout" bedroom but the "Pisky's Nooks won't be a be a problem there is also no height restriction in the "Garden Shed" However the yacht style staircase is blooming quirky...You will have to bend and mind your head and taking large luggage up is a challenge but not life changing...Its all part of the experience.
