We are also close to all three moors for those who love walking. The house is set in over 10 acres of gardens and grounds and boasts it own lake for you to enjoy. We have our own chickens (fresh eggs) and sheep graze the paddocks. Linhay is Cornish for barn and it was originally the cow barn for Westcott Farmhouse. Having undergone much conversion and extension, The Linhay offers high quality accommodation with a wealth of features, such as oak beams and flooring, including outdoor eating area and a pizza oven. Set at the end of it's own private driveway, there is abundant free parking on site. The Linhay is situated within 12 miles of 3 golf courses.
Semi-retired, we moved from Northamptonshire to run a holiday business in the South West over three years ago. We chose this area for its natural beauty and closeness to the sea, giving us the best of both worlds. We have had great fun welcoming guests to our lovely house and find that each and every day is different..... like a box of chocolates..... you never know what you are going to get!! Being a cookaholic, I love to bake every day, and freshly baked cakes and bread feature quite highly in our guests comments along with super comfy beds. A very warm welcome awaits you at The Linhay and would love to meet you wherever you come from.
Of all the places I have lived, this has to be the tops! I am close to everything I love, walking, boarding, cycling, horse riding and so on. But what I really love best about this area is it's peace and quiet - some nights you can see so many stars and hear nothing but nature. If you like the idea of being off the beaten track, then The Linhay is the place to stay, whilst still being close to the beaches, moors and other attractions such as Tintagel, Eden and Port Isaac.
