The Hideaway

Located in Danehill, The Hideaway offers self-catering accommodation within the Ashdown Forest. With free WiFi and free onsite parking, the studio apartment is just 16 miles from Gatwick Airport.

With a king-size bed, the studio apartment features a seating area, an iPod docking station, and a flat-screen TV with a games console and a DVD player. There is an en-suite shower room with a hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. Guests can enjoy garden views from the apartment.

The kitchen at The Hideaway is equipped with a kitchenette. It includes a microwave, toaster, and a fridge. Outside, there is a patio area with barbeque facilities. Many traditional pubs can be found within a 10 miles radius of the property.

Activities in the surrounding area include golfing, cycling and horse riding. Ashdown Forest is ideal for scenic walks and cycle rides.

Information about the host

The Hideaway is a separate self contained apartment and about 10 yards from the main house. It was originally used as a garage for tractors etc but when the roof needed replacing we got a bit carried away and converted it into a new apartment.

We have been here for 15 odd years with three grown up kids. We have been through a recent run over the past two years of improving the main house, outbuildings and grounds and have finally finished! The Hideaway has a clean and contemporary feel it

We are in the beautiful protected Ashdown Forest which offers amazing walks and treks and some gastro pubs which are walking distance from the apartment. There lots to keep adults and kids alike very occupied and we provide a folder with all details.
