The Bushel is a comfortable rural barn conversion situated on a working farm near the Devon market town of Bideford. The barn sleeps two people and has one double bedroom with an en-suite, a sofa-bed and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining and sitting areas. Outside is seating on a front patio, a shared garden and lakes for fishing. The Bushel provides a cosy, comfortable and rural retreat for a couples’ getaway. Note: Lakes on site, children must be supervised. Note: Max 2 adults with one child accepted at an extra £35 p/wk.
Straddling the Torridge estuary, the quaint bustling town of Bideford boasts a medieval bridge, town quay, quaint pannier market and vibrant shopping area - all well worth a visit. For the more active, several major surfing beaches, golf courses, theme parks and other attractions are nearby and the South West coast path passes close by on its way into Cornwall. The beautiful cliff-top fishing village of Clovelly is half an hour by road, and the delights of Exmoor and Dartmoor can be reached in under an hour. Surf the waves, stroll through pretty villages, wander along the Tarka Trail, visit a famous garden or have some fun at one of the local theme or farm parks its all on the doorstep.
