Walled Garden Cottages is very conveniently located for the local village shop in West Wittering. Just over the road is a popular café/restaurant and there is another local store and a butchers. There is also a park and children's playground just a short walk away. West Wittering is famous for sandy beach at East Head. The beach is about a 15 minute walk away, so you can avoid the queue of cars on the busy summer days! It is a great spot for watersports fans with windsurf, surfboard, kayak and paddleboard hire available on the beach. There is a nature reserve and sand dunes which makes for a lovely walk at all times of the year. The Saltern's Way is a cycle path that connects West Wittering with Chichester, via the Chichester Marina. This is a lovely route and makes for a great family day out. A few minutes drive along the coast is the village of East Wittering, which offers a good selection of local shops, including a butchers, fishmongers and a green grocers.
