Unique and quirky cottage on the stunning Isel of Cumbrae, in the only town on the island - Millport. Accessed from the road by a few stone steps, the cottage is tucked away behind other buildings, making it a quiet and peaceful haven. It has it's own private garden, and we welcome up to two dogs- no extra charge! Bed linen is included for the double bed, and just let me know if you need it for the day bed. The cottage sleeps 2/3, and comprises of a kitchen/ living room ,and a large bedroom. There's a Smart TV in each room, so that you can sit in whichever room you like, using the day bed as a couch.

We have been holidaying in Millport for thirty years with our own children, and Mr Millport Breaks also came as a child...

The Island is reached by a ten minute ferry crossing from Largs. It has a busy vibrant feel in the summer. There's crazy golf, two excellent chip shops, some pubs and cafes, a full golf course, two sandy beaches just minutes walk from the cottage, and a beautiful Cathedral to visit if you enjoy history. Walk out of the town though ( about ten minutes form the cottage ) and you're in open countryside, with peaceful walks, dramatic scenery, and the island is a haven for nature lovers. Bird watching, fishing ,cycling, diving, water sports are all available, but you can enjoy an out of season break and appreciate the peace and quiet too!
