Just 10 minutes' drive from the Channel Tunnel (Eurotunnel), the Rose and Crown is also just 11 miles from Canterbury city centre and its historic cathedral.
Once a coaching inn, the separate, converted stable block provides easy access, The Rose and Crown also has a patio and serves real ales, an à la carte menu, a lunch menu and a traditional Sunday roast.
Walking and cycling can be enjoyed with the Elham Valley, whilst nearby Folkestone, 5 miles away, offers a beautiful harbour and cliff walks.
Under New Ownership since April 16. We are situated in the centre of the beautiful Elham Valley, with easy access to the Channel Tunnel, Canterbury and Folkestone. The building dates back to the 15th Century with part of the building being used as the local Court.

Pros: As on our previous stays - our hosts were pleasant and extremely helpful. The ensuite room was comfortable and very clean. Dinner was reasonably priced, and excellent. And the bar is a rekaxing place to unwind, The close proximity to Eurotunnel is excellent.

Pros: Great pub, full of character and wonderful village. Ideal for Dover/Folkestone.
Cons: Nothing really, only the plumbing! Cold water system has an airlock that sounds like a fog horn!

Pros: Lovely spacious room & bathroom, with parking outside. Pleasant, helpful hosts. Good breakfast. Very handy for access to Eurotunnel.
