Puddleduck Valley

Set in the countryside only 25 mins from the beaches at Bude and the mountains of Dartmoor, Puddleduck Valley offers self-catering holiday accommodation in the form of 2 self-catering holiday cottages, 2 Mongolian yurts, and a one bedroom apartment in the farm house.

All accommodations have views of the garden. Some also have views of the valley and lakes. Extras include a barbecue, an outdoor seating area and bed linen.

At Puddleduck Valley a host of activities can be enjoyed including animal feeding, chicken egg collecting, pond dipping, fishing and clay face modelling.

Hartland Cornwall Heritage Coast and Hartland Devon Heritage Coast are both 15 miles from the farm stay. The Milky Way Adventure Park is a 35-minute journey by car.

Information about the host

Our property is so old it was built before the pilgrims set sail for America! With massively thick walls, oak beams and oodles of history Cookbury Court was also the main farmhouse for Dunsland Park. A manor house originally built by the Normans.

We moved to Devon to set up Puddleduck Valley after spending 10 years trying to find the right location. We love the thrill of making our guest's stay really enjoyable and go all out to exceed our guest's expectations.

We don't just like Devon, we adore it. This is an English county that has it all from fabulous beaches with rock pools, body boarding and surfing to the mountains of Dartmoor with windswept granite tors and wild ponies too. Devon is regarded as one of Britain's holiday counties and has so much to do.
