Information about the host

Our gorgeous little barn has been finished to an extremely high standard, with guests comfort in mind at all times. Each bedroom has it's own private en suite bathroom or shower room. Rainfall showers, electric toothbrush holders, anti mist mirrors and underfloor heating feature in both bathrooms. A full kitchen including baking accessories should this be your desire. Also in the kitchen a built in phone charging pad and wine cooler fridge. Relax in our huge comfy beds, all with flat screen TV's in the room allow you to log in to Netflix or use our guest account or unwind in front of the log burning stove looking out over the fabulous view across the paddock where horses will often graze and the sun sets here, which will not disappoint.

Broad Street is a small hamlet on the outskirts of Hollingbourne. Hollingbourne is walkable, although we recommend only doing this is daylight hours due to the narrow lanes. We have 3 fantastic gourmet pubs locally. Hollingbourne has a church and a village shop as well as a train station and buses and also boasts a barber shop. Bearsted is the nearest larger village offering a Tesco Express (Larger Tesco a little further on) and Costa coffee amoung other take away services and pubs. My favourite attraction near to us is Leeds Castle whose usb is "the most beautiful castle in England" and I can honestly say, I could not agree more and it is my happy place. Camber sands is within an hour and the very popular town of Whitstable is 30 minutes away by car, Other attractions for families with younger children include Kent Life 10 minutes away and climbing centres, Ice rinks too in nearby Gillingham. On site we also have ponies, dogs and gineau pigs, all of which we are happy to introduce should you so wish. Kent County Showground is very close by and we can also accommodate stabling for horses (at separate negotiation) should the need arise
