The most unique aspect to your stay at Nidderdale Glamping is the amazing views and then add to that the great continental breakfast, the designated dark skies and ideal walking and cycling area. Be it Rowanberry, Rosehip or Elderberry, your ensuite shepherd's hut is fully equipped with fridge, hob, microwave, kettle, king sized bed, bedding, towels, heaters, chairs, patio chairs and everything else that you might need to make your holiday perfect. There are toiletries and towels in your ensuite bathroom and beautiful linen on your bed. When you arrive there will be milk in your fridge plus tea and coffee to make that all important brew and biscuits of course! Books and games such as scrabble, chess etc plus playing cards are there for you to enjoy; also, of course, there are magazines to glance through. When the night skies are overhead, take a look through the telescope and peer at distant planets because you are in a designated Dark Skies area (why not purchase the Stargazers Pack and sip prosecco, nibble fruit cake with cheese as well?) Enjoy a sumptuous continental breakfast - included in your price. It will be delivered to you in a hamper, so just tuck in.

I love the Yorkshire Dales and Nidderdale is quite the ideal dale to explore. I enjoy walking around, taking in the views and feeling the peace and quiet of the area. However if I want market towns and spa towns then I pop into Ripon or Harrogate (and Bettys for afternoon tea is a must, most enjoyable!). I love to make sure that my guests have everything that they need to get the most out of their holiday - I want them to be refreshed with the wide open vistas and feel enhanced with the historical features in the area.

If you enjoy scrambling over rocks then Brimham Rocks (NT) is just a five minute drive. The World Heritage Site of Fountains Abbey (NT) - such a great day out - is only six minutes down the road towards Ripon. Lightwater Valley for all the fun of the big rides is on the other side of Ripon. Ripon with its Georgian market place, cathedral and museums is seven miles down the road. Harrogate spa town has gorgeous shops, restaurants and is surrounded by The Stray, acres upon acres of grassland and flowerbeds and is just a twenty minute drive. Nearby and within walking distance is the Grantley Arms for really good food. If you want to celebrate a special event, then book into Grantley Hall at their Michelin starred restaurant. Also close by - Half Moon Inn and Sawley Arms. So much to do and a great part of the world ready to welcome you on your well earned break.
