My B&B is in an elevated location, with amazing views of the River Dee and the town of Kirkcudbright. Simple, clean and elegant bedrooms, each with its' own unique colour scheme. The bedding is high quality Egyptian Cotton, though if you bring your dog, coloured bedding will be used. In each bedroom there is a Smart TV, Hair Dryer, Tea and Coffee making facilities. Also for the use of guests is the lounge/diner plus the sun room. Please ensure you read the full Terms and Conditions on the B&B website. Please also note, you will have supplied payment card details, but no payment will have been taken by Booking dot com. You will be asked to pay the full amount for your stay at time of arrival, the host will then pay the commission to Booking dot com when invoiced. My name is Dee - short for Denise. I moved to Kirkcudbright in 2019 and love, love love this town and the area. I live here are the B&B with my 2 dogs and cat, who, if you really want to, you can meet, but also they will not have access to the guest areas. I love meeting my lovely guests and having a chat. I hope you enjoy and fall in love with Dumfries and Galloway and more importantly Kirkcudbright, just like me. Kirkcudbright (pronounced Kir-coo-bree) is a harbour town with an active fishing fleet. It is generally known as 'The Artists' Town' and it has many galleries and museums - all well worth a visit. In 'normal' times there is a huge range of events that run from April to October, with something for everyone. There are the monthly Producers markets, vintage fairs, various art exhibitions alongside the annual Riding of The Marches, the Town Tattoo, Festival of Light, the Jazz festival, Scottish Nights, The Arts and Crafts Trail to name just a few. There are also stunning walks, places to cycle, beaches to visit, woods to walk in and lots and lots of wildlife, if photography is your passion. What is also exciting is the old town school is being developed into a Planetarium, a Pottery studio and Gin distillery. It should be open soon.
