Information about the host

The property is a lovely Edwardian building, with many original features including cast iron fireplaces, high ceilings and stained glass windows. It is very light and airy with an instant welcoming feel as you step into the lovely hallway.

We, Sandra & Len, bought the house, which was already a Guest House and had been for 30 years, in 2006. Neither of us were from the hospitality industry, however we know what type of accommodation we would like to stay in and the quality we would expect. Since 2006 we have closed for 6 months and completely refurbished, including new en suite shower rooms. We have a passion for customer service and want to make our Guest's stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. If we can make it happen we will. We love meeting new Guests and sharing information about our town and surrounding area.

We are in a quiet neighbourhood, on a one way street, within easy walking distance of the town centre. The surrounding properties are either flats or family homes. There is a Catholic church at the end of the road, and restaurants, We do have parking on site, but there is also free parking all around, in the area. The train and bus stations are in easy walking distance from Treetops Guest House.
