Steve and Sandra, the present owners, are enthusiastic advocates of sustainability having converted the house to being heated from well water via a heat pump, which in turn is powered by solar panels. The house is also plumbed throughout to run all toilets from the well while retaining separate plumbing for fresh water supplies to the kitchens and guest rooms.
