Kirkstone Cottage is a cosy 1 bedroom cottage located in the popular village of Ambleside close to the Little House on the Bridge. The cottage is said to be one of the oldest properties in the Ambleside and dates back to the 15th Century. Ambleside has numerous shops, pubs and restaurants and is surrounded by some of the best walking areas in the Lake District making it an ideal base to enjoy a holiday. The cottage comprises: Lounge with slate effect floor with underfloor heating, electric fire, TV, DVD player and Wi-Fi. The dining/kitchen is fully equipped with electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge, microwave and dining table. The bathroom has underfloor heating, a roll top bath, shower cubical, hand basin and WC. Stairs lead to the first floor attractive double bedroom furnished in pine overlooking the Little House of the Bridge. All electric, bed linen, towels and dressing gowns provided. Cot available to hire at a cost of £10 per week. Outside store for bikes and a parking space for a small car. PLEASE NOTE: Dogs are not accepted at this property.
