Heronshaw House

Heronshaw House is a traditional 17th-century stone farmhouse located on quiet and tranquil farmland, 1,050 yards from Bournemouth International Airport. It offers gourmet breakfasts and bedrooms with sash windows with countryside or garden views.

Rooms at Heronshaw House are designed in a country-house style and all feature large walk-in power showers and luxury toiletries. To help provide a relaxing stay, TVs are not included in the rooms but free WiFi is available for catching up on online programmes or movies. Guests are welcome to watch the TV in the guest lounge which also features a fireplace.

Breakfast is served in Trout Dining Room where full English, Dorset cereals and fresh fruits are on the menu. Various snacks are also available at the property.

Heronshaw House is just 6.2 miles from the New Forest. The beaches at Bournemouth are a 15-minute minute drive away. Free parking is available at the Heronshaw.

Information about the host

Heronshaw House is set in the most peaceful surroundings over looking fields and cattle from the neighbouring farm. A perfect escape from reality, with restful rooms and open fires yet just over half a mile from Bournemouth Airport and just four miles from Christchurch. To help provide a relaxing stay we do not have personal TVs in each room, but have wifi, and a TV in our guest lounge which everyone is welcome to use. Please note the best route to the hotel is via the airport junction and easy to find, the other end of Hurn Court Lane is closed with diversion signs.

We have enjoyed welcoming guests both new and returning for a number of years and we aim to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. Any special requests we are happy to help with - just let us know.

Many activities are available in the neighbourhood being just five miles from Bournemouth and Christchurch beaches and minutes from Adventure Wonderland. There is also the the Snowtrax dry ski centre for some Alpine fun and horseriding in the area. The New Forest is just 10 minutes away across the Avon Causeway.
