Eastwrey Barton Country House

Still maintaining much of its original features, Eastwrey Barton Country House is a Georgian country house situated in the Dartmoor National Park. There is free Wi-Fi access in all guest rooms and free on-site parking.

The rooms at Eastwrey Barton Country House each feature a flat-screen TV, a radio, a seating area, tea and coffee making facilities and a hairdryer. They also include an en suite bathroom with complimentary toiletries.

Every morning a full Devon breakfast using fresh local produce is served in the bright dining room.

From the bed and breakfast, Castle Drogo is 7 miles away. Lydford Gorge is a 40-minute journey by car and Buckland Abbey is 47 minutes’ drive away.

Having enjoyed many short breaks in beautiful places and having loved sharing our own home with people over the years we have always dreamed of running a Guest House ourselves one day. And then we discovered Eastwrey Barton. We were immediately struck by its character, its history and its homeliness. There is nothing Janet enjoys more than helping people feel at home, and what better way to do this than with the kettle on and a plate of tiffin or fresh apple cake at hand? As for Martin, he loves to get out the maps and share walks and cycling routes with fellow adventurers over a pint. We are so excited that Eastwrey Barton provides such an ideal base for exploring Dartmoor.
