Eccles-on-sea is a quiet, private estate situated above a beautiful and peaceful sandy beach. The Norfolk Coast Path National Trail passes along the sea wall below settlement. Access to the estate is restricted to residents and their guests and the lack of public parking on the estate means that the beach is rarely crowded, even during the summer season. Dogs have unrestricted access to the beach year round. Happisburgh lighthouse is about 45 mins walk. Sea Palling is 30 min approx walk along the beach or a 5 min drive. This offers a pub, cafe, general store & other small shops, ice cream/sweet shop, small arcade. The highly recommended The Star Inn pub can be found in Lessingham 5 min drive. Stalham is located 10 min away and Wroxham a 15 min drive. Both these towns have plenty to offer. There are 2 farm shops very close offering delicious local produce. Seal watching at Horsey Beach near Winterton-on-Sea is less than half an hour distant.
