Springwells is a graded Georgian Historic home in the foot of the South downs, an excellent location from which to explore Sussex. The House has an individual style and atmosphere with There is a warm welcoming feel . We offer unique bedrooms, a pleasant relaxing lounge, snooker room and a light and airy conservatory dining area. Three pretty gardens full of colour and scent during the spring and Summer and a delight to have afternoon teas in, one with a heated swimming pool (May-Oct) a real oasis and table tennis for the more active. Each en suite bedroom is individually furnished with top grade Lansdowne cashmere beds with 400 count linen, free Wi Fi for the duration of your stay, ironing facilities, smart TV, a room safe, fresh milk for your tea/coffee making facilities

Elizabeth and Amanda, mother and daughter bought Springwells three years ago. They have upgraded and refurbished this lovely old property. After a career in Ballet Amanda's interests, apart from her sons is baking and her scrumptious brownies are addictive. Elizabeth coming out of retirement to continue her career in catering which she enjoys, especially meeting people. They look forward to welcoming guests and make the stay as pleasant as possible trying to put into operation all the things that they have noticed were missing on many visits to various guest houses on holiday.

Steyning is an old Historic Town which used to be a port on the river Arun until it got silted up which is now a mile away. It then a well known Market Town. Springwells is in the heart of the conservation area which is delightful, with many buildings of interest from the Old Brewery to The Mint. A marvellous place from which to visit Sussex from Brighton Palace to Chichester Cathedral within very easy reach of Arundel with its Castle or Goodwood for its racing, with many little villages to explore on the way. Only twelve minutes drive to the beach at Shoreham by sea or ten minutes walk to the South downs. The village has all one would expect of it, a Museum, three pubs, restaurants and some very interesting individual shops on the high street.
