Information about the host

We are a private house which lets our spare bedrooms. We are open to essential workers and those travelling for business, which includes buying and selling property, and funerals only until current restrictions are lifted on 17th May. The house is on 3 floors, with a large garden. The bedrooms are spread over two floors. We have no unsuite, toilets and showers are combined and are shared with one other room. You have your own key and after check-in you can come and go as you wish. Check-in is between 4pm and 6pm, however if this is not possible for you, I am happy to leave the key in a key safe . Check in can never be later than 8.30 pm. Please give me your check in times when you book (a rough idea is ok ). AS WE HAVE NO RECEPTION WE WILL NEED MOBILE NO. OF GUEST THAT IS STAYING. We make a charge for lost or non returned keys. For bookings of 5 days or more we require at least 1 weeks notice to avoid a cancellation fee. We are a no shoes house so please bring in door slippers etc. We have street parking, although you may have to walk a few hundred yards at busy times. I serve continental breakfast between 8am and 9.00m. But i can make exeptions

Our household consists of myself , husband Andy, and our little Spanish rescue dog Layla. As we are a private house that lets our bedrooms there may be personal items in the rooms .

The street is in a quiet, residential area, right in the middle of Bridport. We have a large selection of restaurants and cafes which serve breakfast from about 7am onwards. The restaurants open in the evening vary from Indian, Thai, Pub grub, and conventional food. We can recommend them to you. West Bay (made famous by the TV series Broad church ) is a 45 minute walk though lovely countryside, but there are buses available. And of course we are on the Jurassic coast. The walks are fabulous. Bridport is famous for its amazing history, its vibrant street market on Saturdays and Wednesdays, and its live music venues.
