As you can see I'm grey and bald. Its been a hard life! I studied engineering and then computing and then started an IT company which kept me occupied for the next 30+ years. My wife and I are grandparents, but there's life in us yet. We love travelling. Europe (Germany in particular), USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Namibia and South Africa. I want my guests to come and enjoy my houses in and around Stornoway, experience the lifestyle and the stunning scenery. Get out and see the place! Even in bad weather, its beautiful.

2 bedroom bungalow. One double and one twin bedroom. On the edge of Stornoway. Feels private, yet there are neighbours. Generous gardens front and rear. Stag and sheep often visible. Park on private driveway. WiFi & FreeSat TV.

Neighbourhood information

The house is located on the outskirts of Stornoway, which gives the advantage of free parking on your own private driveway rather than the hustle of town. Riverside park is only a few hundred metres away with play park, walks, zip wire and a football pitch. There is a bus stop beside the park, but the bus often stops on request at gate of the house. There are lots of places to eat out and things to see, all detailed in The Blue Book inside the house. These range from a recently refurbished castle, many different walking routes in the superb castle grounds, a multitude of restaurants, museum and much more. A car is advisable, but this is an island, so nowhere is too far away.
